During the third quarter of 2022, the top five city-building games in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Trading Legend from BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $8.9K in the first week of September. Weekly active users, however, showed a steady decline from 971 to 457 over the quarter.

Land of Empires: Immortal by Nuverse experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with the highest revenue of about $5.3K recorded in early August. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with the highest at 210 in July. The number of active users peaked at 216 in late July but saw a decrease to 124 by the end of September.

SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts garnered a consistent weekly revenue, reaching up to $2.5K in the first week of September. Weekly downloads showed significant growth, especially in mid-September with 1.3K downloads. Active users increased from 3.8K in late June to a peak of 6.1K in mid-September, before settling at 4.6K by the end of the quarter.

Merge County® by Microfun Limited had a moderate revenue performance, peaking at $2.5K in late July. Downloads were highest in late June with 196, but dropped significantly towards the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decline, from 600 in late June to 364 by the end of September.

Global City: Building Games from MY.GAMES B.V. showed impressive growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 2K in late August. Revenue increased gradually, reaching around $947 in mid-September. Active users also saw a substantial increase, peaking at 3.1K in late August.
